Integrity
Best-selling author Stephen Covey explains that integrity "means the whole of our life is integrated around principles." At Vic Wiens Consulting, those guiding principles are our stated values as well as such characteristics such as honesty, kindness, fairness and respect. These characteristice, in turn, become the basis for specific consistent approaches to business, such as win-win consulting agreements. This means that we are determined to give you good value for our services and be true to our word.
Professionalism
In many respects, professionalism flows from integrating life around principles. Some of the measurable traits of professionalism are careful stewardship of other people's money, careful research to bring the best knowledge to bear on a problem, aesthetic excellence in personal appearance and the appearance of products, learning every aspect of a job, and trying to produce more than is expected. Such a commitment to excellence takes years of preparation and ongoing hard work so professionals also maintain professional fees rather than compromise the quality of their work.
