"Who" is Vic Wiens Consulting?
Vic Wiens Consulting Ltd consists of our President and Senior Consultant, Vic Wiens, BRE, BEd, MEd. and a variety of associate consultants who are used to advise him and to occasionally work directly with clients. However, your primary relationship at VWC will always be Vic Wiens himself.
Vic has over 20 years experience and 11 years of college and university education relating to organizational leadership, vision, strategy and funding. His career has been focused on applying solid business principles to both businesses and non-profit organizations and to mentoring leaders. He also has given many training seminars throughout Alberta and British Columbia. In particular, his experience includes his role as superintendent of a private school system with almost a dozen schools and serving on boards of a number of businesses and non-profit organizations. Vic began consulting about 8 years ago, while still a private school superintendent.
Vic's wife, Karen Wiens, BGS, is the VWC Vice President. Karen has over 20 years of teaching experience, and she also has many years of experience in volunteering for non-profit organizations. Although Karen does not play a very public role in Vic Wiens Consulting Ltd, she plays a very significant behind the scenes advisory role. Karen is no stranger to the world of business, since her father was the president of a group of commercial construction related businesses.
Bruce Palsky, Associate Consultant, has over 25 years of experience in organizational leadership in non-profit organizations ranging from very small to mid-sized. He has over 5 years of college education and he is currently completing his MA in Leadership. Bruce brings a high level of cross-cultural expertise, having traveled, lived, studied, and worked in over a dozen countries around the world. He is passionate about developing people and forming effective staff and leadership teams. His wife, Evangeline, who is currently the Bookkeeper and Facilities Manager in a non-profit organization, previously worked for Vic Wiens Consulting. She has a strong passion for mentoring youth.
